What we built

Amberhill Gallery & Gift Shop, located in a 100-year-old heritage home with limited square footage, needed shelving, a retail counter, a print rack, and a simple cabinet setup to add storage in the gallery. We designed custom fixtures to maximize the space, including a retail counter with a privacy panel, allowing the client to work on a laptop while keeping the front area tidy. High-quality maple plywood was selected for its dimensional stability, particularly for long shelves and cabinet panels, helping keep the project within budget. Hardwood edgebanding was applied for a polished finish, achieving the look of solid maple. Each piece was designed to stand alone for easy rearranging or relocation. The minimal design ensured that the colourful products on display remained the focal point.
